Verse 1

Aarti Kunjbihari ki, Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari ki ||
Gale mein baijanti mala, bajavai murali madhur bala |
Shravan mein kundal jhalakala, Nand ke anand Nandlala |
Gagan sam ang kanti kali, Radhika chamak rahi aali |
Latan mein thadhe Vanmali, bhramar-si alak, kasturi tilak,
Chandra-si jhalak, lalit chhavi Shyama pyari ki |
Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari ki, Aarti Kunjbihari ki ||

This Aarti honours Kunj Bihari—Giridhar, Krishna and Murari. He wears a Vaijayanti garland, plays a sweet flute and shines with earrings as Nanda's beloved son. His dark radiance is compared with the sky, with Radha shining beside him. Standing among the vines as Vanamali, his bee-like curls, musk mark and moonlike face form the graceful image praised by the song.

Verse 2

Kanakamay mor mukut bilasai, devata darshan ko tarasain |
Gagan son suman rashi barasai, baje murachang, madhur mridang,
Gwalin sang, atul rati gop kumari ki |
Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari ki, Aarti Kunjbihari ki ||

Krishna's golden peacock-feather crown gleams, and even the gods long for his sight. Flowers pour from the sky while drums and other instruments sound. The cowherd women join this celebration with incomparable devotion and love.

Verse 3

Jahan te prakat bhai Ganga, kalush kali harini Shri Ganga |
Smaran te hot moh bhanga, basi Shiv shish, jata ke beech,
Harai agh keech, charan chhavi Shri Banwari ki |
Shri Giridhar Krishna Murari ki, Aarti Kunjbihari ki ||

In the song's sacred imagery, the Ganga appears from the divine feet, removes the impurities of the age and rests in Shiva's matted hair. Remembering her is said to dispel delusion, while Krishna's feet are praised as cleansing the mire of wrongdoing.

Verse 4

Chamakati ujjval tat renu, baj rahi Vrindavan venu |
Chahun disi gopi gwal dhenu, hansat mridu mand, chandani chand,

The bright sand of the riverbank gleams and Krishna's flute sounds through Vrindavan. Gopis, cowherds and cows fill every direction. His gentle smile is likened to moonlight, and the final line prayerfully asks him to hear the distressed and release them from the bonds of worldly existence.
