Delete Your Valkala Account
Last Updated: October 30, 2026
Who this page is for
This page explains how to delete your account for Valkala: the website valkala.com and the Android app Valkala: Aarti, Chalisa & Japa on Google Play. An account is optional. Reading, puja mode and the japa counter work without one; signing in with Google only keeps your saved prayers, japa totals and Valkala Pro the same on the website and your phones. If you never signed in, Valkala holds no account data about you, and uninstalling the app removes everything it kept on your phone.
Delete your account in the app
- Open Valkala and tap Settings (the icon at the top right of Today).
- In Your Valkala account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm with Delete. Your account and its synced data are removed straight away and you are signed out.
Delete your account on the website
- Go to valkala.com/account and sign in with the same Google account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
Can’t sign in any more? Email [email protected] from the Google email address you used with Valkala and ask us to delete the account. We delete it within 30 days and reply to confirm.
What is deleted
Your Google account identifier, name and email address as stored by Valkala; your saved prayers (“My prayers”) and puja list; your japa totals, streak and history; your Valkala Pro status; and your sign-in. They are deleted from Valkala’s account database (Google Firebase, Mumbai region) when you confirm.
What is kept, and for how long
Payment records (the payment reference, amount and date of an ad-free or Valkala Pro purchase) are kept separately for as long as Indian tax law requires, then deleted. A Valkala Pro purchase made through Google Play stays with your Google Play account under Google’s terms; deleting your Valkala account does not cancel or refund it (see the Refund and Cancellation Policy). Prayers saved on your phone stay on that phone until you uninstall the app or clear its data. Usage counts in Google Analytics are not linked to your name or email. See the Privacy Policy for everything else.
