या कुन्देन्दुतुषारहारधवला या शुभ्रवस्त्रावृता
या वीणावरदण्डमण्डितकरा या श्वेतपद्मासना।
या ब्रह्माच्युतशंकरप्रभृतिभिर्देवैः सदा वन्दिता
सा मां पातु सरस्वती भगवती निःशेषजाड्यापहा॥

Ya Veena Vara Danda Manditakara Ya Shweta Padmasana ||
Ya Brahmachyuta Shankara Prabhritibhir Devai Sada Vandita |

English meaning: May Goddess Saraswati protect us, she who is as pure white as the jasmine flower, moon, and snow; who wears white garments and holds the Veena; who is ever worshipped by Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, and who completely removes all lethargy and ignorance.
