Sukhkarta Dukhharta Varta Vighnachi || Nurvi Purvi Premkrupa Jayachi ||
Sarvangi Sundar Uti Shendurachi || Kanthi Jhalke Mal Muktaphalanchi || 1 ||
Jaydev Jaydev Jay Mangalmurti || Darshanmatre Manahkamana Purti || Dhru ||
English meaning: The aarti opens by praising Ganesha as the giver of joy and the remover of sorrow, who takes away even the talk of obstacles. The compressed second half says his loving grace leaves nothing of them remaining (नुरवी) and fills the devotee's need (पुरवी); readers take these two verbs in slightly different ways, so the meaning is kept close to the words. His whole body is beautiful with a coating of vermilion, and a string of pearls gleams at his throat. The refrain, written in full only here and marked ध्रु०, hails him as the auspicious form at whose mere sight the mind's wishes are fulfilled; that is the aarti's devotional statement, not a promised result.
Roman Hindi meaning: Aarti aarambh mein Ganesh ji ki stuti karti hai: ve sukh dene wale aur dukh harne wale hain, jo vighnon ki baat tak mita dete hain. Pankti ka doosra bhaag sankshipt hai: unki premamayi kripa vighnon ko shesh nahin rehne deti (nurvi) aur bhakt ki aavashyakta poori karti hai (purvi); in do kriyaon ko log thoda alag-alag samajhte hain, isliye arth shabdon ke nikat rakha gaya hai. Unka saara shareer sindoor ke lep se sundar hai aur kanth mein motiyon ki mala chamakti hai. Tek, jo keval yahin poori likhi hai aur 'dhru' se chinhit hai, unhe Mangalmurti kehkar jai-jaikar karti hai, jinke darshan maatra se man ki kaamna poori hoti hai; yeh aarti ka bhaktipurn kathan hai, kisi parinam ka vachan nahin.

The 1878 refrain controls. The 1882 first printing of the revised recension lacks the third जय, which its own 1910 reprint and the 1891 Ramdas edition both have; the 1891 मंगळमूर्ती and मनकामना are spelling differences.
रत्नखचित फरा तुज गौरीकुमरा ॥ चंदनाची उटी कुंकुम केशरा
हिरेजडित मुगुट शोभतो बरा ॥ रुणझुणती नूपूरें चरणीं घागरिया ॥ जयदेव० ॥ २ ॥
Ratnakhachit Phara Tuj Gaurikumara || Chandanachi Uti Kunkum Keshara
Hirejadit Mugut Shobhto Bara || Runjhunti Nupure Charni Ghagariya || Jaydev || 2 ||
English meaning: This stanza describes Ganesha's adornment. For him, the son of Gauri, there is a jewel-set फरा (an ornament or covering; the exact object the word names is not certain), a paste of sandalwood with kumkum and saffron, and a diamond-studded crown that looks fine on him; anklets with little bells jingle on his feet. जयदेव० cues the refrain. This middle stanza is printed in the 1878 controlling witness and the later Navanit reprints but is absent from the 1891 edition of Samarth Ramdas's collected works, so its link to Ramdas rests on the sung tradition rather than on that edition. The final syllable of मुगुट is damaged in the 1878 print and is read as in the 1910 reprint; the print's नूपूरें is kept where the reprint has नूपुरें.
Roman Hindi meaning: Yeh chhand Ganesh ji ke shringar ka varnan hai. Gauri-putra ke liye ratnon se jada 'phara' (koi aabhushan ya aavaran; shabd theek kis vastu ka naam hai, yeh nishchit nahin), kesar aur kunkum mila chandan ka lep, aur heeron se jada sundar mukut hai; unke charnon mein ghunghroodar noopur runjhun bajte hain. 'Jaydev' tek ki or sanket hai. Yeh beech ka chhand 1878 ki niyantrak prati aur baad ke Navanit sanskaranon mein hai, par 1891 ke Samarth Ramdas samagra granth mein nahin, isliye iska Ramdas se sambandh us sanskaran par nahin, gaayan-parampara par tika hai. 1878 ki chhapai mein 'mugut' ka antim akshar toota hai aur 1910 ke punarmudran ke anusaar padha gaya hai; chhapa 'nupure' (नूपूरें) rakha gaya hai, jahan punarmudran mein 'नूपुरें' hai.

Lambodar Pitambar Phanivarbandhana || Saral Sond Vakratund Trinayana ||
Das Ramacha Vat Pahe Sadana || Sankashti Pavave Nirvani Rakshave Survar-Vandana || 3 || Jaydev ||
English meaning: Ganesha is addressed as the big-bellied one, clad in yellow silk, with the great hooded serpent bound about him, with a straight trunk, as Vakratunda (a traditional name usually explained as 'of the curved trunk'), and three-eyed. 'Rama's servant waits for you at his dwelling' is the signature line; दास रामाचा is read as the name of Samarth Ramdas, to whom the 1891 collected-works edition attributes the aarti. The devotee asks Ganesha, honoured by the foremost gods, to come in times of trouble and to protect at the final hour; this is a prayer within the tradition, not an assurance about health, danger or death. The 1891 edition reads सरळशुंड and closes संकटीं पावावें सुरववंदना without निर्वाणीं रक्षावें; those readings are disclosed, not blended.
Roman Hindi meaning: Ganesh ji ko Lambodar, Pitambardhari, Nagraj ko kamar mein baandhe hue, seedhi soond wale, Vakratund (paramparagat naam, jise praayah 'tedhi soond wale' samjhaya jaata hai) aur Trinetra kehkar pukara gaya hai. 'Ram ka daas ghar mein aapki prateeksha karta hai' hastakshar-pankti hai; 'daas Ramacha' ko Samarth Ramdas ka naam maana jaata hai, aur 1891 ka samagra granth aarti unhi ki batata hai. Bhakt shreshth devtaon dwara vandit Ganesh ji se sankat mein aane aur antim samay mein raksha karne ki vinti karta hai; yeh parampara ke bheetar prarthana hai, swasthya, sankat ya mrityu ke baare mein koi aashvasan nahin. 1891 ke sanskaran mein 'saralshund' aur ant mein 'sankati pavave survavandana' hai, 'nirvani rakshave' nahin; ye paath prakat kiye gaye hain, milaye nahin gaye.
