Vrat Katha in Hindi & English

Read the stories traditionally told on Ekadashi, Purnima and festival vrats, each tied to a named source, with Roman transliteration and Hindi, Hinglish and English versions.

A vrat katha is the story read or heard during a fast or festival. Each Valkala katha says whether it is transcribed from an old printed edition or is Valkala's own retelling of a named source such as a Purana, and cites that source. Modern katha books and websites are not copied, and traditional beliefs about a katha's results are described as tradition, not promised.
